The workshop will focus on the detector and physics reach of the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO). Despite initial delays, several obstacles have recently been overcome and so now is an opportune moment to bring together experts from the national and international community to assess and consolidate the physics case, against the backdrop of current and forthcoming global activities in neutrino physics.

The aim of the workshop is two-fold:

- to highlight the unique relevant physics goals of the proposed magnetised iron calorimeter detector (ICAL) experiment at INO, as well as to scrutinize the state-of-the-art e-ICAL, a 700-ton prototype surface detector at the Inter-Institutional Centre for High Energy Physics (IICHEP), Madurai.

-  to discuss possible synergies with physics and complementarities with detectors of other current and future possible experiments.

Those interested to participate in this workshop are welcome to apply by filling up the registration form. For more details on the programme and speakers, watch this page.
